    Open Round Funded, go to Account, MCP and create a key. Copy it now, it is shown once.

    In Claude, open Settings and go to Connectors.

  3. 3

    Click Add custom connector.

    Paste the Round Funded server URL below.

    Add a header. The name is Authorization and the value is the word Bearer, a space, then your key. Claude sends the value exactly as typed and adds nothing of its own.

    Save and start a new chat. Round Funded now appears in the tool list.

MCP needs an active paid plan. It is not part of the trial, and the contact allowance cannot be topped up separately.

Questions before you connect

Can it send emails to investors for me?

No, and this is deliberate. The agent can draft outreach and queue it. Delivery needs a person. An AI mistake in an investor inbox cannot be undone, so the send button stays with you.

Does searching cost me anything?

No. Search, filters, pipeline and Data Room reads are unmetered. The only metered action is revealing an investor contact, and repeat reveals of the same investor are free.

Is my key safe to paste into a config file?

It is scoped to one workspace and works at the Round Funded MCP endpoint only. It cannot read your inbox, reach another founder or change your billing. If a config file leaks, revoke the key in Account, MCP and it is dead immediately.

Is this the same as a Claude connector?

Yes. Connectors are how Claude speaks MCP. Round Funded is a remote connector, so there is nothing to install and nothing running on your machine.

Which Claude plans support custom connectors?

Custom connectors are available on Claude paid plans. If you do not see Add custom connector in Settings, your Claude plan is the reason, not your Round Funded plan.
