AngelMatch Review: Is It Worth It in 2026?
AngelMatch is worth a 3-day free trial for founders who want a large investor list to email from one tool. It is a paid database (125,000+ investors, by its own count) with outreach and a CRM from $59 a month and data rooms from $99, as of October 2026. Round Funded is the alternative built on 60,000+ recently active investors.
AngelMatch also writes its name as Angel Match. Prices and plan limits are from its pricing page as of October 2026; facts from other sites name their source in the text.

What AngelMatch Is and How It Works
AngelMatch began as an investor database and, per its FAQ, "eventually turned into an all-in-one fundraising tool". It claims 125,000+ angels, VCs, private equity investors, micro VCs and angel groups, updated weekly, and, per Gritt.io and InvestorLists.vc, 99,000+ verified emails.
You filter by focus, location, stage (pre-seed to late stage), investor type and past investments, then add matches to the Fundraising CRM. From there you export to CSV or XLSX, or email investors from your own address or domain, with follow-ups and open, click and reply tracking.
AngelMatch also advertises a 2,000+ pitch deck database, and BigGo Finance (August 2026) calls it the flagship product of its owner, Rashid.
AngelMatch Pricing in 2026
As of October 2026, AngelMatch's pricing page lists Basic at $59 a month, Growth at $99 and Premium at $349 for its default 2,000-investor tier. Each has an optional 3-day free trial, with no contract.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly total | Investors emailed a month | Exports a month | Adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $59 | $349 | 100 | 100 | Email outreach, inbox, fundraising CRM |
| Growth | $99 | $499 | 500 | 500 | Deck hosting, a data room, investor updates |
| Premium (2,000 tier) | $349 | $2,099 | 2,000; tiers run 1,000 to 5,000 | 1,000 (plan card: 1,200) | Unlimited deck hosting, 10 data rooms |
Yearly billing comes with 6 months free. The pricing page labels the yearly figures "per month", but read them as annual totals. Only that reading fits the offer ($349 a year for Basic versus $708 paid monthly), and InvestorLists.vc reads them the same way. Confirm at checkout.
Payment runs through Stripe, and you can cancel any time with access to the month's end. An AppSumo lifetime deal cost $49 according to one 2022 buyer. That is a historical price: we found no current AppSumo offer.
What AngelMatch Does Well
AngelMatch's strengths are list size, entry price and an all-in-one workflow; on the first two it beats Round Funded, on size by its own count:
- A bigger list. 125,000+ investors claimed, about twice Round Funded's 60,000+.
- A cheaper start. Basic is $59 a month against $99 for Round+, as of October 2026, and AngelMatch's yearly billing adds 6 months free.
- Phone numbers and social links where profiles have them, plus a phone-number filter.
- Search to inbox in one tool. Every plan includes email outreach, the CRM and unlimited open, click and reply tracking.
- A flexible exit. Cancel any time, or subscribe for one month just to export a list.
A 2021 AppSumo reviewer said it "saved me tons of hours searching for qualified investors."
Where AngelMatch Falls Short
AngelMatch's weak points are thin independent proof and a narrow entry plan.
- Little independent proof. Angels Partners, one of the alternatives below, found no AngelMatch reviews on Trustpilot, G2 or Capterra as of September 2026. AppSumo shows a 4.2 average, but the positive reviews we found come from 2021-2022 lifetime-deal buyers.
- One upgrade complaint. A one-star February 2026 AppSumo review says the reviewer's lifetime-deal dashboard began asking for a subscription. By the reviewer's account, the owner blamed a glitch from a recent upgrade, and access was still not restored seven days after the reviewer sent their AppSumo codes.
- A narrow Basic plan. Basic caps you at 100 investors emailed and 100 exports a month. Per the pricing FAQ, deck hosting, the data room and investor updates start on Growth. The same page also lists deck hosting and a data room under Basic, as does a September 2026 Smile FinTech review, so confirm at checkout.
- Sourcing over conversion. Gritt.io, also on our alternatives list, wrote in June 2026 that AngelMatch "looks most useful when the problem is sourcing efficiency" and "less decisive when the problem is conversion".
AngelMatch vs Round Funded
Both bundle an investor database, email outreach and a CRM, and neither has a free plan. They split on list size, monthly email volume and the data room, which AngelMatch sells from its Growth plan and Round Funded gives free. Our Round Funded vs AngelMatch post goes deeper.

AngelMatch wins on entry price and, by its own count, list size. It also tracks email opens, clicks and replies on every plan and bundles investor updates.
Round Funded wins when recency matters more than raw size: its 60,000+ investors, about half AngelMatch's claimed 125,000+, all have a check in the last 6 months. At $99, Round+ emails up to 1,000 investors a month to Growth's 500, and Round Pro emails up to 5,000 at $249, against 2,000 on Premium's $349 default tier. Round Funded's Data Room is free to build and share, adds a tracked link per investor on paid plans, and runs in 12 languages.
Best AngelMatch Alternatives in 2026
Round Funded comes closest, and two others start free. AngelMatch and Round Funded prices are as of October 2026. InvestorLists.vc's comes from a post dated July 2026 that cites September 2026 figures; Angels Partners' comes from an undated Geeks Club table.
Round Funded
Round Funded covers the same database, outreach and CRM job on a narrower list: 60,000+ VCs, angels, family offices and accelerators with a check in the last 6 months. Outreach goes from your Gmail, the Data Room is free where AngelMatch's starts on its $99 Growth plan, and an MCP server lets Claude or Cursor search on paid plans.
OpenVC
OpenVC is an investor directory you can start on a free plan. AngelMatch's own 2026 roundup says free directories like it "cost nothing but offer limited data and no verified contacts". Our OpenVC page covers its plans and prices.
InvestorLists.vc
InvestorLists.vc pitches itself as the AngelMatch alternative for a US VC raise. Its Annual plan costs $497 a year with unlimited searches, emails, LinkedIn profiles and CSV exports, per its comparison post.
Angels Partners
The Geeks Club lists Angels Partners among Angel Match's alternatives, with a free plan and paid plans from $79 a month. It also publishes its own AngelMatch review, cited above.
Gritt.io
Gritt.io pairs investor search with AI-generated emails and intro-path support, per its own comparison, which says AngelMatch leaves messaging to the founder.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does AngelMatch cost?
AngelMatch costs $59 a month on Basic, $99 on Growth and $349 on Premium at its default tier, as of October 2026. Yearly billing lists $349, $499 and $2,099 a year, framed as six months free. Round Funded's plans are $99 or $249 a month, or $899 once, as of October 2026.
Is AngelMatch free or paid, and is there a free trial?
AngelMatch is paid, with a 3-day free trial you opt into at sign-up and no contract. There is no free plan: you can browse and preview investor data, but full details and contacts need a paid plan, despite homepage buttons that say "Get started for free".
Is AngelMatch legit, and is it worth it?
Yes. AngelMatch dates its database to 2019, publishes its prices and bills through Stripe. Per BigGo Finance (August 2026), its owner puts AngelMatch's monthly recurring revenue at $29,000. It is worth a trial if list size matters most, but independent reviews are scarce: test it first, or try Round Funded's free Investor Match tool.
What is AngelMatch used for?
Founders use AngelMatch to find angels and VCs that fit their startup and email them from one tool. You filter by industry, location, stage, investor type and past investments, add matches to its CRM, then export the list or send outreach from your own email.
Is Angel Match the same as AngelMatch?
Yes. AngelMatch's product pages write the name as two words, Angel Match, while its own blog and several third-party reviews write AngelMatch. Unrelated products use similar names, including a separate startup and investor matching platform, so check you are on the investor database first.
What are the best AngelMatch alternatives?
Round Funded is the main alternative for the same database, outreach and CRM job, with 60,000+ investors filtered to recent activity and Gmail outreach. OpenVC and Angels Partners both have free plans, and InvestorLists.vc sells unlimited exports on a yearly plan. More in our investor database roundup.
Is Round Funded affiliated with AngelMatch?
No. Round Funded is not affiliated with AngelMatch. This is an independent comparison built from AngelMatch's public pages and published third-party sources, with facts checked in October 2026. Round Funded competes with AngelMatch, so treat our verdicts as one view and confirm prices at checkout.
Final Word
AngelMatch is a solid pick for a 125,000+ investor list by its own count, a $59 starting price as of October 2026, and outreach with open and reply tracking. If you want investors with a check in the last 6 months and a free Data Room instead of a $99 plan feature, Round Funded is built for that.
