Created by founders from top global accelerators
Three steps. Sixty seconds. One email that gets replies.
Stage, ask, traction, and the investor you're targeting. The more specific, the sharper the email.
We tune subject line, hook, and ask using patterns from 1,000+ funded outreach emails.
Copy it into Gmail or use Round+ to send in bulk and track every open and reply.
A short, tight, personal email. No corporate fluff, no buzzwords. Just the four things investors actually read.
Hi Sarah,
I'm raising $1.5M for Round Funded, the fundraising platform for founders outside SF. We hit $30k MRR in 4 months with 10% MoM growth and 200 paying customers, mostly in EU and LATAM.
Reaching out because Sequoia led the seed for AngelMatch last year, and Round Funded plays in the same neighborhood with a stronger non-US footprint.
Happy to send a short deck or do a 20-min call this week. Are you taking pitches?
Alex
This is a template. The generator personalizes it with your stage, traction, and the specific investor.
Five things every investor reads in the first 8 seconds. Skip any one and your email lands in the trash.
"Round Funded, $1.5M seed, $30k MRR" beats "Quick chat?" 100% of the time. Investors scan inboxes by signal density. Put your stage, ask, and traction in the subject so they decide to open before they decide to ignore.
"Saw your investment in X" or "You wrote about Y" beats "You're a top investor in our space." Generic emails get archived. Specific emails get a reply, even if it's a polite no. Look up which fund partner led the most recent deal you admire and reference it in one sentence.
Investors fund traction, not vision. Lead with the strongest metric you have: MRR, growth rate, retention, paying logos, or waitlist size if you are pre-launch. If you cannot lead with a number, you're probably emailing too early. Get to 10 paying customers first.
"Are you taking pitches?" beats "Would love your thoughts." Investors do not want to give thoughts. They want to either invest or pass. Make the ask binary, low-effort, and easy to schedule. A 20-minute call beats a vague coffee.
It will get a better reply rate than 'Hey, we're raising, want to chat?' which is what most founders send. Cold email reply rates for fundraising sit at 5 to 10 percent when the email is tight and personalized. This generator handles the tight part. The personalization depends on what you put in the inputs.
No. You can generate a template-style email without an investor name. But the email is much sharper when you fill in a specific investor (their fund, their thesis, a portfolio company). Round+ also gives you 10,000+ active investors filtered by stage and industry if you need a target list.
The generator is free. You sign up to get your email, and you keep your account. Round+ is the paid product (10,000+ investors, bulk send from your Gmail, pipeline tracking) at $99 per month or $699 lifetime. You do not need it to use the generator.
Yes. Round Funded is built for founders raising from anywhere. The generator works in 12 languages and our investor database covers Europe, LATAM, Asia, MENA, and Africa, not just SF. Plenty of pre-seed and seed funds invest across borders if your traction is real.
Yes, and you should. The generator gives you a strong starting draft, not a final email. Tweak the opener, drop the most relevant traction number, and triple-check the investor name. Five minutes of editing turns a 5 percent reply rate into 15 percent.
