Round Funded Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes the terms under which payments made to Round Funded are (or are not) refundable. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Round Funded is a software-as-a-service product (a flat-fee subscription plus an optional one-time license). We are not a financial intermediary, broker-dealer, investment service, or marketplace that handles third-party funds. The refund terms below follow standard SaaS subscription conventions. See our Terms of Service, Section 2, for the full description of our service scope and regulatory posture.

1. All Sales Are Final

Round Funded operates on a pay-upfront, no-refund model. By purchasing, you acknowledge that:

  • Round+ subscriptions (recurring monthly subscription) - billed at the start of each monthly cycle, or at the end of your free trial if you started with one. You may cancel at any time to stop future billing, but no refund is issued for the current or any past billing period, even if you cancel immediately after being charged, except at our sole discretion as described in Section 4.
  • Round Pro subscriptions (recurring monthly subscription) - billed at the start of each monthly cycle, or at the end of your free trial if you started with one. You may cancel at any time to stop future billing, but no refund is issued for the current or any past billing period, even if you cancel immediately after being charged, except at our sole discretion as described in Section 4.
  • Lifetime plan (one-time purchase) - final sale. No refunds, no exceptions for change of mind, change of business direction, or change in business priorities.
  • AI email credits (one-time top-ups and refills purchased inside the dashboard) - final sale. Credits are a digital benefit applied to your account immediately upon payment and are non-refundable, whether used or unused.
  • Gift cards (one-time purchase) - final sale. Gift card purchases are non-refundable, and gift card codes are not redeemable for cash. An unredeemed or partially used gift card cannot be returned for a refund.

Free trial. We may offer a free trial on our subscription plans. When a trial is offered, its availability, length, and terms are those shown at checkout and on our pricing page, and it is available to first-time subscribers only. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to paid and your payment method is charged the applicable plan price when the trial ends, and at the start of each billing period after that. You can cancel at any time during the trial from the Billing section of your dashboard to avoid being charged. Returning customers are billed immediately upon subscribing. Current plans, prices, trial terms, and any discounts are shown on our pricing page (https://www.roundfunded.com/pricing) and at checkout, and may change at any time for future purchases. Aside from the discretionary goodwill described in Section 4, we do not offer money-back guarantees or pro-rated refunds.

2. Why No Refunds?

Round Funded gives you immediate full access to the entire business intelligence database, productivity tools, and CRM upon payment. The value is delivered at signup, not over time. Allowing refunds would invite abuse by users who extract value and then request their money back.

If this policy is unacceptable to you, please do not purchase.

3. Cancellation (Subscriptions)

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Open your profile dropdown and click Billing.
  3. Click Manage Subscription to open the secure Stripe customer portal, then cancel your subscription there.

Cancellation stops future billing. You retain access until the end of the current paid period. There is no refund for the remainder of that period.

The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase with no recurring billing, so there is nothing to cancel.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases of material service failure, for example a prolonged total outage that prevents you from using paid features for more than 7 consecutive days, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a credit toward future use or a partial refund.

Material failure does not include:

  • Recipients not replying to your communications.
  • Database information being out of date for a specific listing.
  • Your account being terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Changes in your personal or business circumstances.
  • You changing your mind about the product.
  • Any outcome (or absence of outcome) of communications, negotiations, or transactions between you and any third party, which occur entirely outside the Service and are your sole responsibility.

Forgotten trial cancellations. Separately from material service failure, if your payment method was charged at the end of a free trial that you intended to cancel, and you have not made meaningful use of the paid features, you may contact us at team@roundfunded.com within 14 days of that charge. Although all sales are final under Section 1, we may, at our sole discretion and as a goodwill gesture, cancel your subscription and refund that charge in full or in part. This is a discretionary courtesy only; it is not a right or entitlement, does not apply to any other circumstance, and does not obligate us to offer a refund in any similar case.

All exceptional refund requests must be submitted in writing to team@roundfunded.com within 14 days of the issue and include sufficient detail for us to investigate.

5. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or bank without first contacting us at team@roundfunded.com is a violation of these terms. We reserve the right to:

  • Provide your purchase records and the original Terms you agreed to as evidence to your card issuer.
  • Terminate your account upon receipt of a chargeback notice.
  • Recover any chargeback fees and associated costs from you through any available legal means.

6. Payment Processor

All payments are processed by our authorized payment processors, including Stripe (https://stripe.com) and/or other PCI-DSS compliant gateway providers. Round Funded does not directly store, process, or transmit card data; all card data is handled by the payment processor under their own terms and security obligations.

Approved refunds (under Section 4) are issued back to your original payment method through the payment processor that handled the original transaction. Round Funded does not hold, escrow, or otherwise retain customer funds; refund amounts move directly through the processor's standard refund flow.

Where applicable, the payment processor may handle VAT and sales tax collection on our behalf in accordance with their own merchant terms.

7. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always at https://www.roundfunded.com/legal/refund-policy. Changes do not affect purchases made before the change date.
