Cookie Policy
Round Funded Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Round Funded uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.roundfunded.com (the "Service"). It is a companion to our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, measure how the Service is used, and improve your experience.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies (cannot be disabled)
These are required for the Service to function. Disabling them will break account login, payment, and core features.
- Authentication cookies — set by Supabase to keep you logged in.
- Security cookies — CSRF protection and session integrity.
- Affiliate tracking cookie —
affiliate_clickid, stored for 30 days when you arrive via an affiliate link. Used to credit referrals.
Analytics Cookies (can be disabled)
These help us understand how the Service is used and where to improve.
- PostHog — product analytics. Tracks page views, feature usage, and (with input masking) session replays. We use this to identify drop-off points in the user experience.
- Vercel Analytics — server-side traffic analytics. Counts page views and infers country / device type from request headers. No cookies are placed by Vercel Analytics itself; it uses anonymous request data.
What We Do NOT Use
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
- We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tags, or LinkedIn Insight Tag for tracking on this site.
- We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.
3. Third-Party Cookies
When you load embedded content (for example, a video or a font hosted on Google Fonts), the third party may set its own cookies governed by their own policies. We do not control these.
4. How to Control Cookies
You have several options:
- Cookie banner — on first visit, we display a banner letting you accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- Browser settings — every major browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave) lets you block or delete cookies. Search "[browser name] cookie settings" for instructions.
- Do Not Track — we honor browser DNT signals where applicable by limiting analytics tracking.
Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or using paid features. We recommend allowing essential cookies and rejecting analytics if you prefer.
5. Retention
- Essential session cookies expire when you close your browser or log out.
- Persistent essential cookies (e.g., affiliate tracking) expire after 30 days.
- Analytics cookies expire per the vendor's defaults — typically 1 to 24 months.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The current version is always at https://www.roundfunded.com/legal/cookie-policy.
