What Moneco does

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a neobank tailored to African migrants in Europe. Our product offers a current account, payment card, and free remittances to make banking more accessible and affordable. We want to become the financial hub for their specific needs, addressing challenges traditional banks overlook.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Paris, Île-de-France, France, and plan to base the company there and remain remote-friendly after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose Paris because it's where our team is based and a major hub for African migrants in Europe - the community we serve. Staying remote allows us to tap into talent across Europe while staying connected to our main market.
