We make smart electric and water meters that utilities can install easily and affordably. Our meters transmit usage data wirelessly and remotely, enabling utilities to monitor their grid 24/7, detect fraud, remotely read meters, switch supply on and off, and implement time-of-use pricing. Our product is plug and play, five times cheaper than existing smart meters, and aimed directly at utilities.
We are distributed: some of us are remote in Oregon and elsewhere, one founder is in San Francisco, and another is in Lausanne, Switzerland. After YC, we plan to base the company in San Francisco.
Our team spans the US and Switzerland. Being in San Francisco post-YC will help us access customers, partners, and investors in the energy sector while keeping core engineering distributed.
