What inBuild does
inBuild boosts revenue for home builders by automating the thousands of invoices they receive for every project. For example, when a subcontractor sends an invoice for work they completed, inBuild checks the cost against the project budget, handles any approvals, pays the bill, and updates Quickbooks.

Workflow Automation for Construction Finance
We built a platform that automates the entire invoice processing workflow for home builders. When a subcontractor sends an invoice, inBuild checks the charge against the project budget, routes it for approval if needed, processes payments, and updates accounting in QuickBooks automatically. This removes manual work, speeds up payment cycles, and reduces errors in managing thousands of invoices per project.
Our team is currently spread across Wilmington, DE; San Francisco, CA; and Aspen, CO. After YC, we would be based wherever is best to grow the company, likely San Francisco since we have team members and investors there.
We split between three locations because we found talent and early customers in those places. Wilmington is where Ian and Ty started work. San Francisco gives access to tech talent and investors. Aspen is personal - but some product functions and team members sit there. We see ourselves consolidating toward San Francisco after YC because that's where scaling operations happen.
