We are building Aqueduct, a node-based procedural material engine for production studios. It includes an AI assistant that helps artists construct and modify complex procedural graphs. We also offer diffusion tools for texture generation, PBR maps, and converting references into textures. The goal is to speed up the content creation pipeline for game and design artists who traditionally spend hours or days refining textures and materials by hand.
I live in Pittsburgh, PA, and we plan to keep the company based here after YC.
Pittsburgh gives us a low-cost base and access to engineering talent. We're remote-friendly but want to stay rooted here to grow the local tech scene rather than relocating to typical startup hubs.
