We built Index to combine public data about professionals with private relationship information inside companies. The product maps who knows who and how well, to enable warm introductions. Our early users are sales teams and business development groups who want to skip cold outreach by leveraging internal networks.

We live in San Francisco, CA. After YC, the company would remain based here.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where our team is and is a core market for the product because many target customers and early users are in tech and sales teams here. Staying local ensures direct access to users and partners.
