Company
Industrial Microbes
We design microbes to make chemicals greener and cheaper.
We design and engineer microbes that convert waste and new raw materials into chemicals, polymers, and inputs for agriculture. Our product is a platform that partners with large manufacturers to replace petrochemical processes with biological ones that are more cost-effective and sustainable.
We live and work in San Francisco and Alameda, California. After YC, the company will continue to be based here for access to the biotech ecosystem and manufacturing partners.
San Francisco and Alameda give us direct access to biotech talent and large industrial companies interested in greener chemical production. The Bay Area is the best place to build a synthetic biology company like ours.
