Accelerating machine learning through software
We build software that accelerates deep learning workloads. Originally, we worked on hardware platforms designed to be much faster than ASICs for machine learning, but after realizing the challenges there, we pivoted to software solutions that improve the speed and efficiency of existing ML systems. Our product targets machine learning engineers who need to train models faster and more efficiently without rewriting hardware.
We live in Portland, OR, and operate remotely with a small team. After YC, we plan to remain based in Portland while maintaining remote flexibility.
Portland has a good technical talent pool and lower costs than traditional hubs. Our team is distributed but centered around Portland, so it makes sense to keep it as our base while leveraging remote work for broader talent.
