What ValCtrl does

ValCtrl is building the world model for Prediction Finance. Prediction markets contain useful prices about the future, but today those prices are fragmented across venues, titles, rules, and proxy contracts. Users think in beliefs; markets are stored as scattered contracts. Our first product is Kassandre Search. Users type a natural-language belief, and Kassandre maps it to relevant prediction markets with backtrace and quality labels. Existing markets are the first scaffold. The long-term product path is search -> composed exposures -> native quotes -> gated bet/trade placement, with legal/compliance gates respected at each step. We are looking for hard belief-to-market queries from forecasters, investors, operators, and YC founders.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We are building ValCtrl, a world model for Prediction Finance. Our first product, Kassandre Search, lets users type natural-language beliefs and maps them to relevant prediction markets with backtrace and quality labels. This helps forecasters, investors, and operators find and compare fragmented market prices that currently exist across many venues and contracts. Eventually, we plan to enable composed exposures, native quotes, and bet placement with legal compliance at every step.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in New York, NY, and the company will be based here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

New York is where we are and where the financial and fintech communities we engage with are strongest. It keeps us close to users and partners relevant to prediction finance and fintech exchanges.
