What Valienta does

Valienta helps Dropshippers in Colombia (and Latinamerica, eventually) to run the business, reduce costs and increase sales. Through Valienta, our users have access to a marketplace of 160+ suppliers and thousands of products, to the possibility of shipping the orders to most of the country, and to multiple payment methods. In addition to that, our users are able to create their own e-commerce site for free, increase their advertising budget with our credit line, and improve their knowledge on sales and digital marketing with our educational content. We are working to democratize e-commerce by giving any person access to the capabilities that only established companies enjoy. We are working to become The Dropshipping Operating System.

Helping Dropshippers in Colombia grow sales

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built a platform for dropshippers in Colombia that connects them to a marketplace of 160+ suppliers and thousands of products. It handles shipping orders nationwide, offers multiple payment options, and lets users create their own ecommerce sites for free. We also provide credit to boost advertising and educational content on sales and digital marketing. Our goal is to lower the barrier to entry so anyone can run a competitive dropshipping business here.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia, and the company is based here with a remote team. After YC, we would continue operating from Medellín.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Colombia is where the dropshipping market we serve is active but underserved. Building here lets us stay close to our users and their needs while taking advantage of local talent. Remote work expands our reach but Medellín remains our operational center.
