What ValueMate does

Property appraisals suck - September’s new federal rules will make them even worse. ValueMate’s LiDAR-plus-AI app captures a property in a three-minute walkthrough and delivers a regulator-ready report on our dashboard, slashing cycle times by 80% for the valuation firms already on board. In the next few months, every bank, AMC, and independent appraiser must switch to the new format or watch loans pile up. ValueMate handles the transition end-to-end, with zero tape measures, zero data entry, and zero closing delay. We’re transforming the multi-billion dollar appraisal industry with technology that captures millions of 3D data points per walkthrough.

Valuemate automates real estate appraisals with AI

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built an AI-powered appraisal app that uses LiDAR scans collected during a three-minute property walkthrough to output a regulator-ready report. It replaces manual tape measures and data entry, cutting appraisal times by 80% for valuation firms. Our product helps banks, AMCs, and appraisers comply with incoming federal appraisal rules without delaying closings.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in New York City. After YC, we'd keep the company based here to stay close to our initial customers and the real estate ecosystem.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Being in New York puts us near the largest concentration of banks and appraisers who need to adapt to regulatory changes. It also helps Anir and Pietro balance the product build with customer feedback in real time.
