What Tint does

Tint makes it easy for tech platforms to embed insurance into their products. For example, when you go to Outdoorsy to rent an RV, the insurance that is sold with the rental is powered by our technology. Our product provides anything that is needed from underwriting software to access to insurers to compliance, in a simple API.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build an API platform that lets tech companies embed insurance seamlessly into their products. That means providing everything they need: underwriting software, insurer access, compliance tools. Outdoorsy uses us to power the insurance that comes with renting an RV, but our product works across many types of tech platforms that want to offer insurance without building all the infrastructure themselves.

We live in San Francisco and work both there and remotely. The company is based in San Francisco.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where our team is centered and where much of the insurance and tech ecosystem is. We also have remote flexibility, but this location connects us best with our customers and partners.
