We are building Star, a tool that lets anyone create playable video games by describing what they want to the AI. Our product removes coding from game development, so users can iterate on complex game ideas using natural language and simple controls. We're focusing on making game creation accessible to creators who don't have programming skills but want to bring their game ideas to life.
We live in Monterey, CA, USA and Star is based remotely. After YC, we will continue to operate remotely from Monterey and the surrounding area.
We chose Monterey because it's where we both live and can focus without the distractions of a bigger city. Remote work suits our small team, and we can tap into a wider talent pool if needed while keeping low overhead.
