What SnapTrade does

SnapTrade is an API to connect retail brokerage accounts to any fintech app. We enable API access to real-time account data, historical transactions, and trading. This makes it possible to build new investing experiences with existing brokerage accounts, so users don't need to transfer and it's easier to get started.

We built an API that connects retail brokerage accounts to fintech apps. It lets apps access real-time account data, historical transactions, and place trades without users needing to move assets. This makes it easier to build investing apps that work with existing accounts.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and are based in Fredericton, NB, Canada, and the company headquarters remain here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose Fredericton because it's home for the founders, and we can build the product from here effectively with a distributed team. We're comfortable scaling remotely without relocating.
