Marketplace for insurance securitization

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We have built a marketplace that allows insurers to securitize their risk portfolios more efficiently. Our platform connects asset managers, pension funds, hedge funds, and family offices with insurance risks as an asset class they can invest in. We combine proprietary software and data analytics to price and manage these insurance risks in a way that wasn't accessible before.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and operate remotely within the United States. After YC, the company will continue to be based in the U.S., with team members distributed remotely.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Our team is distributed and remote across the U.S. We believe the insurance and finance industries we serve are concentrated here, so keeping the company U.S.-based aligns with our customers and talent. Remote work also lets us attract the best people regardless of location.
