We're building a broadband internet service for urban centers in Africa using Wi-Fi networks and solar-powered towers. Our product offers unlimited internet at a price users in places like Lagos can afford, with infrastructure we own and operate ourselves to keep costs low.
We are currently in Lagos, LA, Nigeria, and plan to base the company here after YC.
We chose Lagos because it has high population density, big demand for better internet, and access to the wireless spectrum we use. It's also our home and where we understand the market best.
