We built Hype to let users trade memecoins and other crypto easily on a mobile app. It also lets users send crypto to their friends directly. Our product focuses on the social and entertainment side of crypto trading, targeting people interested in memecoins.

We live in New York, NY and the company is based here. After YC, we'll continue to be based in New York.

New York is where we live and have built our network. It's a major fintech and consumer market, which fits our focus on memecoins and crypto trading for everyday users.
