What Heru does

Heru is the tech-based tax solution that automates tax filing procedures for consumers and Enterprises in Mexico. Our technology automatically, files taxes, deducts expenses, issues invoices and collects payments all from one app. Easy, transparent and automated. 14 million digital workers and SMEs in Mexico face constant stress derived from their lack of knowledge on tax related issues. By providing these users a suite of tax based solutions, we will allow them to further progress in their financial health.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built an app that automates tax filing for individuals and SMEs in Mexico. It automatically files taxes, deducts expenses, issues invoices, and collects payments, all in one place. Our goal is to take the stress and complexity out of managing taxes for the 14 million digital workers and small business owners who struggle with it today.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Mexico City, and the company is based here now and will remain so after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Mexico has a large, underserved market for tax automation that we deeply understand. Being based here gives us direct access to users and local tax regulations, which is critical for building a product that actually works.
