Modern bill payment for African businesses.
We built a bill payment platform that lets African individuals pay their energy bills easily and businesses pay international vendors hassle-free. We also provide lenders with an Energy Data Service that uses payment data to improve lending decisions. Our product solves the problem that bill payment and vendor payments are fragmented, manual, and unreliable in Africa.
We currently live and work in the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria, and plan to base the company there after YC as well.
We live and focus on Nigeria because that's where the problems with bill payments and business financial workflows are the most acute. The infrastructure and users are local; we need to be embedded in the market we serve.
