What Trigo does
Trigo aggregates consumer rent history to help landlords approve better tenants and lenders write more loans. No solution exists to consistently furnish this rent verification to landlords and lenders today. The largest database has only 3% coverage of rent data. Trigo is a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA) that provides this missing rent data set through a real-time API and web application. We are repeat founders with consumer data and finance experience across Harvard, Citigroup, Experian, and Amazon.

We built an API and web app that gives landlords and lenders reliable rent payment history, filling a gap where existing data covers only a fraction of renters. Our product aggregates consumer rent data to verify tenants and borrowers in real time, something no one else consistently provides today.
We live in New York City and work remotely. After YC, the company would remain based in New York, where many of our customers and partners are located.
New York is central to our customer base of landlords and lenders and the financial ecosystem we serve. Remote work lets us remain flexible while staying close to the market dynamics and industry connections here.
