What StayQrious does

Imagine doing personalised workouts with a fitness coach, but for school subjects. Students log into their session that has been scheduled with their coach, they can see their learning workout for the day. Their workout typically consists of watching an interactive video, writing explanations, giving feedback to other students, making an explainer video etc. They get constant feedback and encouragement from the coach and progress only after they have understood the pre-requisites.

Online group learning for kids in India

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We've built a platform where kids in India join scheduled online group classes led by a coach. Each class is a learning workout with interactive videos, writing tasks, peer feedback, and explainer videos. Coaches give constant feedback and kids don't move on until they fully understand prerequisites. It's focused on personalized engagement in school subjects, replacing passive video consumption with active, guided learning.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We're based in Bengaluru, KA, India, with part of our team remote. We will stay here after YC as well.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose Bengaluru because it's India's education tech hub, where we can find talent and connect with early users. Remote work helps us scale, but our HQ is here to stay for recruiting and operations.
