We build tiny AI models that run locally on devices like smartphones and wearables. Our first open source model, KittenTTS, is a text-to-speech engine small enough to run offline with low latency. This lets hardware manufacturers and developers add AI features without needing cloud resources or expensive chips.
We're currently based in San Francisco, CA, and plan to keep the company headquartered here after YC.
