What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

Queenly is an online marketplace connecting women looking for formalwear with sellers offering new, pre-owned, or rental gowns and accessories. We provide a focused, easy-to-use platform across iOS, Android, and web to browse, buy, and rent dresses for proms, weddings, and other events. We handle complex logistics like authentication, shipment, and returns to simplify the process.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work in San Francisco, CA. The company is based here as well, leveraging local tech and fashion resources.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where we have found the talent and investor support needed to build and scale a marketplace in an underserved apparel category. It also positions us well to connect with formalwear sellers and users looking for premium options.
