We are building QuestDB, a high-performance open-source time series database that handles fast data ingestion and executes queries extremely quickly. It is built to provide a superior developer experience with SQL support and open data formats. Our focus is on stripping down bottlenecks at the hardware level and minimizing resource needs, making time series data management much more efficient.
We are based in London, England, United Kingdom, and operate remotely. After YC, we will continue to operate out of London and remote locations as that suits the team and product development best.
We chose London because that's where our team is based and where we have access to technical talent and early users. Remote work lets us stay flexible and hire globally, which suits how our team already works.
