What Pluggy does

Pluggy is a B2B Fintech that allows any developer to connect to the data from their users' bank and broker accounts, essentially Plaid for Brazil. We are 100% focused in Brazil. One of the largest markets in the world. Its complexity, risks and challenges require its own solution. Local focus and our deep experience in banking tech engineering allowed Pluggy to create a product that is considered by our customers as the only one to provide reliable data at the right time to market. We currently cover 90% of the bank accounts in Brazil a market of more than 7 billion USD. We are Pluggy!

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We've built an API that lets developers access users' financial data from banks and broker accounts across Brazil. Our product handles Brazilian banking's complexity and variability to deliver reliable, timely data to fintechs and other B2B clients.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work remotely from São Paulo, Brazil, and plan to keep the company based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Brazil is one of the biggest markets with unique challenges in financial data aggregation, so we focus entirely here. Our local engineering experience lets us solve problems global players miss.
