We build Outerbase, a tool that lets companies interact with their databases without writing SQL. Users can view, edit, and change data directly through our interface and create visual dashboards quickly. It's designed to eliminate the barrier of SQL knowledge and speed up data workflows for engineering, product, and design teams.
We live in Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and remote locations. After YC, we plan to base the company in San Francisco but keep distributed engineering.
We started distributed with founders in Pittsburgh and San Francisco. Being flexible with location helps us hire talent and meet customers where they are, while still benefiting from being in the Bay Area for YC and investor access.
