What Outfit does

We sell DIY home renovations in a box. We format our architect-designed templates to a customer's space. We then buy all the materials needed on their behalf, and ship it to their door for them to build. The experience is accompanied by an app that guides from start-to-completion of the project.

I live in New York City and Los Angeles. The company would continue to be based in these cities after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Both NYC and LA have strong markets for home renovation and access to suppliers and customers. Having presence in both lets us serve customers on both coasts and tap into diverse housing markets.
