Our mission is to enable borderless commerce in Africa. We achieve this initially by providing your team with all the finance tools needed to build, scale, and grow your borderless business without the need for a costly and complex in-house infrastructure.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We have built a ledger-based operating system that lets finance teams at borderless businesses manage all their financial flows in one place. This includes connecting money accounts, accounting systems, payment providers, treasury operations, and spend management across borders in Africa. The product is for finance and treasury teams that want to avoid building expensive in-house infrastructure while scaling globally.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and work split between San Francisco, CA and Nairobi, Kenya. After YC, the company will remain based in both locations to stay close to our African market while building global partnerships in the US.

Explain your decision regarding location.

The founding team is distributed between SF and Nairobi because Africa is our core market, but innovation partnerships and fundraising happen mostly from Silicon Valley. Maintaining both locations helps us stay connected to users and investors simultaneously.
