We built OrbitCover, a parametric travel insurance platform that automates flight delay payouts. It detects delays automatically and settles claims in under five minutes without any claims filing. Our product integrates with insurers and travel platforms to provide instant, hassle-free compensation to travelers when flights are delayed.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live and operate out of Bengaluru, India, with some team members working remotely. After YC, we will continue to base the company in Bengaluru while supporting a remote workforce.

Explain your decision regarding location.

Bengaluru has deep engineering talent and a growing fintech ecosystem. It lets us build and iterate quickly on complex insurance infrastructure, while operating cost-effectively. Our remote setup also lets us tap into talent outside the city.
