A social platform to connect people in person
We are building Meetyu to help people discover and meet others nearby who share their interests. Our product focuses on spontaneous, real-world social connections rather than traditional online networking. We made it because socializing is often limited to existing circles or online-only, leaving many opportunities missed.
We both live in San Francisco, and the company will be based here after YC as well.
San Francisco has the right mix of tech talent and early adopters interested in new social apps. Being local lets us iterate quickly with users around us.
