What Reble does

Reble offers a software download, only for windows, that allows users to stream music from your friends who also have installed Reble. It launched into public beta on Feb. 5th, 2008, and is a Y Combinator-funded company.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built Reble, a Windows app that lets users stream music directly from friends who also have Reble installed. Instead of downloading or subscribing to a central catalog, you get access to music your friends own and share live over the network.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in Boston and San Francisco now. After YC, we plan to base the company in the Bay Area to be closer to the tech ecosystem and potential partners.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We decided on keeping the company in the Bay Area post-YC to tap into the investor network and talent pool while leveraging our existing presence there and in Boston.
