What Lygg does

Up to 90% of skin aging is caused by UV light from the sun. Most of this is caused by UVA light and only one FDA-approved chemical ingredient protects against it. To address this, Lygg has developed a patented, photostable, and safe ingredient that triples current UVA protection.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We have developed a patented, photostable ingredient that triples UVA protection compared to the only FDA-approved ingredient currently available. It's designed to be safely integrated into sunscreens and skincare products to prevent UV-induced skin aging.

I live in San Francisco, and after YC the company will be based here as well.
