We are building ISSEN, an AI-powered conversational language app that acts as a personal voice tutor. It adapts lessons and conversations to the user's interests, learning style, and goals to accelerate fluency through real-time speaking practice. Unlike typical apps, it focuses on sustained spoken interaction on topics users care about, making language learning more effective and engaging.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live in New York, NY, and plan for the company to remain based there after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose New York because it's where we are based and because of the diverse population interested in language learning. Staying here lets us stay close to our early users and networks while participating in YC.
