We built Jam.gg as a web platform where friends can play multiplayer games together while video chatting. It focuses on making online couch gaming accessible by drastically reducing the internet bandwidth needed using our patented tech, about 15x less than usual. We host top retro titles, PC indie games, and board games all playable instantly in browser.
We live in San Francisco and work remotely, and the company will be based here after YC as well.
San Francisco is where we both live and where our early users and gaming community connections are strongest. It also puts us close to the tech and gaming ecosystem we want to tap into.
