We are building an online wealth manager designed specifically for people who work at tech companies. Our product helps them make better financial decisions, managing their stock options, equity, and cash so they don't have to spend extra time figuring out complex personal finance issues that come with tech compensation.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, CA, and Compound would remain based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is the center of the tech industry and the primary location of our target customers. Being here lets us connect directly with users and partners, and tap into the talent pool we need to grow.
