What ClipDrop does
ClipDrop is an app that turns regular mobile photos into professional product visuals. Thanks to companies like Poshmark, Etsy and Ebay, there are now over 25M sellers who need great visuals for their shops but most of them don’t have access to a professional photographer or a design team. We replace all of this with our app available on mobile and desktop. We’re a team of former Google, Facebook employees and Machine learning PhD’s and academic Professors. We believe that machine learning will bring professional photography and design to millions of businesses for a fraction of the cost.

We're building an app that takes photos from a regular mobile device and transforms them into professional-looking product images. This is for millions of sellers on platforms like Poshmark, Etsy, and Ebay who don't have access to professional photography or design teams. Our product removes the cost and complexity of creating quality visuals by automating background removal and enhancement on mobile and desktop.
We live in Paris, France, and the company is based there, but we work remotely as a team. After YC, we plan to stay distributed with the main base remaining in Paris.
We are based in Paris because that's home for all three founders. The team is remote but small, so being in the same time zone matters. Post-YC, we'll remain remote to maintain flexibility and continue building from where we are most effective.
