Checkars is an online marketplace where people in Latin America can buy certified used cars. We focus on removing the hassle and distrust common in used-car transactions by certifying cars and offering a transparent purchase and financing process.
We live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the company is based here. We plan to stay here after YC.
Argentina is home and the market we know best. The problem of trust in used car sales here is acute. Building locally lets us move fast and stay close to customers.
