We built Boton to help SMBs in Latin America get real-time financial statements prepared by an AI agent. Our software autonomously processes accounting data and connects users with partner accountants who can verify books and answer questions. This cuts down the time and complexity small businesses face managing their finances in a market with limited affordable accounting options.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live and are based in Panama City, Panama. After YC, we plan to stay here as our core team and early users are local.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We built Boton to solve a problem specific to SMBs in Latam and are best positioned to execute from where we live. Panama City gives us access to regional customers and relevant accountants who understand the local financial and tax environment.
