What Adaptional does

Adaptional is building agentic AI for insurance claims. Claims are 75% of every dollar in the $1T insurance industry -- and one of the most under-optimized areas, still managed by adjusters working hundreds of files by hand. We're changing this with AI claims review agents, already deployed at some of the major P&C carriers. In the future, claims will be powered by an intelligence layer that manages files and escalates actions to human adjusters. Adaptional is building the AI system that will be the foundation for every claims department across P&C insurance.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We build AI agents that review and manage property and casualty insurance claims. Our system automates much of what human adjusters currently do by hand - sorting files, flagging exceptions, and escalating issues. This speeds up claims processing and reduces errors for major carriers already using us.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We both live in San Francisco, and the company will be based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco has deep AI and insurance tech talent, plus close proximity to many insurance carriers and investors. Being here helps us move fast and stay connected to early users.
