We live in Lausanne, VD, Switzerland, and the company is currently based here. After YC, we would base the company wherever makes the most sense, likely keeping significant operations in Lausanne.
Lausanne offers strong academic and biotech connections critical for protein engineering. The founders are already here, which helps us move fast. We see no need to relocate away from this talent and infrastructure hub unless YC advises otherwise.
