What Actipulse Neuroscience does

Non-invasive brain stimulation is a widely-utilized, FDA cleared treatment used for patients diagnosed with depression, but is limited to a hospital setting due to the cost of the device, and complexity of treatment application. Our proprietary brain stimulation device allows patients to be treated directly from their home, with the same efficacy, and at a lower cost of treatment. Currently in FDA pivotal phase for Major Depressive Disorder, and Pilot phase for Alzheimer's and Parkinson diseases.

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We make a portable, non-invasive brain stimulation device that lets patients with depression receive FDA-cleared treatment at home. Our device matches hospital efficacy but costs less and removes the need for clinical visits. We're also piloting for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We are based in Cambridge, MA and Mexico City, CDMX. After YC, we will continue from these locations.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We split our team between Cambridge and Mexico City to leverage local talent and keep development and operations efficient across time zones. Both places are critical to our work and growth.
