The Fridge makes private conversation, media, and event sharing dead simple. The Fridge is like Tumblr for social networks. Anyone can easily create shared spaces, invite their friends and socialize/share photos, videos, music, and more. The Fridge reinvents how groups interact online allowing users to cut through the clutter of their social graph and create lightweight targeted spaces for personal and private relationships, special interest groups or clubs, or any temporary network around events, gatherings or nights out on the town...

We built Fridge to create lightweight, temporary social networks that let people share privately with just the right group. It's like Tumblr but for private social spaces where users can share photos, videos, music, and events without the clutter of their full social graph or needing Facebook.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, and the company would stay based here after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco is where we live and where the early tech and social startup community is. Staying here keeps us close to potential users and partners.
