We're building a proprietary payment terminal that lets customers pay with a fingerprint in about a second. The terminal combines the security of chip card payments with a much faster and simpler experience: just press your finger, and payment is done.
We live in South San Francisco, and the company is based there. After YC we would continue to be based in South San Francisco, close to the hardware and payment ecosystem we depend on.
South San Francisco is where we are now, and it's ideal for building hardware-focused payment products, so we'll stay here rather than moving.
