What Trellis does

Trellis is building toward a new hospitality platform: one that does not just help guests find homes, but actually operates them with agents. Our first wedge is short-term rental property managers, replacing their fragmented stack across guest messages, tasks, cleaners, maintenance, vendors, and owner updates with agents that run operations end-to-end. In two months, we’ve grown to $500k ARR across 35 customers and 3000 listings, growing around 15% week over week, with one customer already running day-to-day operations with no human involved.

The platform where short-term rentals run themselves

What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We're building a platform for short-term rental property managers that automates operations end-to-end. Instead of juggling dozens of tools for guest messages, cleaning schedules, maintenance, and owner communication, Trellis replaces that entire stack with operational agents that run things automatically. This means managers can scale without adding staff or overhead.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We live in San Francisco, and Trellis is based here as well. We plan to keep the company in San Francisco after YC.

Explain your decision regarding location.

San Francisco has the concentration of technical talent and proximity to early customers in the short-term rental space. Being here helps us iterate fast and build strong relationships with property managers in the Bay Area.
