What Trexo Robotics does
Trexo Robotics is building exoskeletons to help people walk, starting with children. Our product allows children with disabilities like Cerebral Palsy, to walk, in many cases for the first time in their lives. Trexo was started when Manmeet found that his nephew was born with Cerebral Palsy and would never be able to walk. Trexo is selling commercially, with a vision is to replace the wheelchair, for children, adults, and the elderly.

We build wearable robotic exoskeletons designed to help children with disabilities, especially Cerebral Palsy, to walk. Our device supports their body and assists movement, enabling many kids to take their first steps and get exercise otherwise impossible. Our long-term vision is to replace wheelchairs for a wider range of users, including adults and the elderly.
We live in Toronto, Canada, and the company is based here now. Post-YC we would remain based in Toronto.
We chose Toronto because that is where the founders are and where we have access to talent, specialized medical partners, and early users. It makes sense to build and test locally with the children who need our product.
