What is your company going to make? Please describe your product and what it does or will do.

We built SimpleLegal to manage legal spend, matters, accruals, and IP for in-house legal teams. Our software organizes billing and workflow so legal departments can track costs and cases in one system that fits their specific workflows.

Where do you live now, and where would the company be based after YC?

We currently live in Los Angeles and Mountain View, California. After YC, the company will remain based in these locations.

Explain your decision regarding location.

We chose Los Angeles and Mountain View because our team is split between these cities and these areas have vibrant legal and tech ecosystems that help us build and sell SimpleLegal.
